Annual Church Profile Instructions

It is important for the Long Beach Harbor Southern Baptist Association, the California Southern Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention to know what is happening “statistically” in our churches, which is why Annual Church Profile (ACP) data is collected each year. The information that churches provide assists these organizations in planning how to best serve churches, and guides them and Southern Baptist Convention agencies in funding California ministries.

Every church is being asked this year to provide statistics on the “short” form. Also needed are the names of key leaders in each congregation.

Here are a few important thoughts to consider when filling in the ACP:

• Use the statistics from a recent 12-month period of your choice.
• If you are not comfortable sharing some of the information requested, don't feel obligated.  Instead, mark that question with "n/a."
• If you are not sure of an exact figure, please give your best estimate. 

Be assured that information in the ACP will not be shared outside the “Baptist family.”
